As you can see efficient lifeguards are extremely necessary in such deep water. Lifeguards in boats are stationed right along the lake at each beach. To their credit it does get cold and deep past those posts, but wouldn't a shark net do? Oh - no sharks. Maybe American's cant swim like us amphibious Australians.

That's exactly the escape I needed this morning at 9am as I sit in a deserted tafe library with only the banal chattering of the spinster librarians for company.
It's either this or the eye watering winds that are whipping around the Ultimo streets at what surely has to be below 10 degrees. Thanks guys. love Helen
